Music at the Cathedral School of St Mary
Music in the curriculum starts in EYFS and KS1 with exploring different ways to create music and sound, both with their voices and instruments. This is taught through specific times spent learning songs, nursery rhymes and poems as well as through the charanga curriculum that offers different experiences of music.
As a school, we are very proud of our choir, who have in the past performed within the Cathedral. Unfortunately, this hasn't been possible through the pandemic. However, the choir continue to flourish and we are looking toward future opportunities to share our love of music.
