As part of our exploration of other world faiths, deepening our understanding of different cultures and making links with our own beliefs, we have been learning about Hinduism.
Class 4 worked with Class 2 to explore some symbols of Hinduism - the Aum symbol and lotus flower - and also how these symbols are often depicted in colourful Rangoli patterns.
KS1 met a Hindu representative from the Plymouth Faith and Cultural centre, for an assembly about Hindu worship. KS2 then explored Hindu religious expression through dance, which was later shared across the whole school.
